Welcome to CreativeFun, a server dedicated to ensuring that people of all ages and background are able to safely engage themselves in the countless activities available on our server.
In order for that possibility, we need your cooperation in following our few simple, important rules. Please make sure that you read through all of them carefully!
Any incomprehension or confusion regarding our rules is to be brought immediately to staff members. "I didn't know / understand the rules" is NOT grounds for release from punishment.
It is your job to keep up with the rules and to not break them. There will be no excuses of "Oh, but I didn't get a warning." as warnings are given by the jurisdiction of the staff member.
If you do not get muted after 30 days from your previous mute, your mute history will be cleared. This does not apply if you have been permanently muted.
Advertising other servers or websites (through either direct IP addresses, Discord Invites, etc). This is not allowed regardless of whether you do it in global chat, local chat, private messages, mail, signs, books and builds.
If you have been banned you are not allowed to use another minecraft account to bypass your ban. This will result in the alt accounts being permanently banned and you will also be IP banned.
If you have been permanently muted you are not allowed to bypass your mute through /mail, writing on signs, writing in books, using an alt account, etc.
We define this as the intentional destruction of another person's build. We do not ban players for griefing a plot where everyone is added or trusted.
Using hacked clients or any modification. Use of any modifications to your game which would give you an advantage in gameplay, combat, building, survival, etc, that others would not have reasonable means of obtaining themselves without said modifications is strictly prohibited. You may be banned for admitting to using hacks or be banned if you are seen using them. Mods such as nuker, plot permissions bypass, fastspeed and fastbreak are examples of harmful hacks/mods.
Builds which violate our server rules such as those showing inappropriate statues, strip clubs, 9/11 builds, concentration camps, slavery, religious/racially offensive builds, cursing, or inappropriate speech, etc.
Home names which violate server rules will result in the creator of the /home being banned as well as the home name being removed.
Roleplay roles which violate server rules will result in the creator of the roleplay name being banned.
Nude and/or graphic player skins will result in a permanent ban until the skin is changed.
Usernames which violate server rules will result in a permanent ban until the name is changed. Includes inappropriate speech, cursing, drug references, and advertising other servers. If you are banned for having an inappropriate username you are allowed to use an alt as long as the name does not violate this rule. This also includes impersonating staff via your username, such as changing your IGN to SvperMonis.
This will result in a permanent ban. Posting personal identifying information such as phone numbers, full real names [first names may also be punished for decided on a case to case basis], locations, emails, or account passwords without the owner's permission. Information like Minecraft username, forums username, and discord username are exempt as these are not particularly identifying for real-life scenarios and are readily accessible in our community.
This will be seen as an attempt of bypassing the chat filter or trying to hide inappropriate messages from staff and will result in various tempban durations.
If you are found to be or reported by the plot owner for making attempts at bypassing a plot deny you will be given a 1 day tempban.
If you are found to be or reported by the plot owner for making attempts at bypassing locked doors by abusing glitches you will be given a 1 day tempban.
If you are found to be initiating in actions that are inappropriate in-game you will be given a verbal warning to stop and a tempban for 3 days if you continue.
Spamming fireworks to lag players on plots is not allowed, you will be given a verbal warning to stop and a tempban for 1 day if you continue.
We would define this as asking players in chat to message you for a server name or IP. An example of breaking this rule would be "Add me on discord for a minecraft server". This is a form of bypassing the "No Advertising" rule and any form of delivering another minecraft server IP through some other platform will lead to a 7 day tempban.
Sending links to and/or advertising discord servers is not allowed. You are not allowed to advertise your discord server on signs for your roleplay either. While we recommend all players to use the CreativeFun discord server for calls, you are allowed to discuss calls and ask players if they would like to join your own call.
Users advertising skin comps, builds, roleplays, dating centres, etc in global may first be asked to move to /advertising. Continuing to advertise in /global will result in a mute.
Asking players to join their realm, saying "msg to join my realm," etc is a form of advertisement.
Giving out links or names to social media accounts such as instagram, tiktok or snapchat for example is not allowed, we have no control over what happens on other social media platforms so for the safety of the community this is not allowed.
Sending links to and/or advertising youtube videos and channels, twitch streams, etc is not allowed.
Intentional harassment/degradation of another player.
This is a child friendly server and as such, you are not allowed to use swear words. Any attempt to bypass the filter such as intentionally altered spellings will result in a mute. This includes acronyms and abbreviations such as ffs, ** and stfu. You are not allowed to post website links, only CreativeFun website links are allowed.
Includes roleplaying slavery, asking for slaves, etc.
Saying "kill yourself," "drink bleach," "commit bathtoaster", etc, or saying you are going to commit suicide, or talking about someone else committing suicide.
Asking for drugs, talking about drug use, includes tobacco, and vaping. Talking about normally taken medications such as over-the-counter or prescription meds is okay. References to illegal use of commonly abused drugs such as xanax will still be punishable. Alcohol is an exception and can be mentioned in local chat only.
Asking someone for a server IP or server site URL in chat.
You are not allowed to tell other players to break the rules, an example of this would be saying "Hey you guys should start cursing since staff are gone".
Threatening to hack the server and/or other players accounts/computers.
Telling players you're staff or that you're going to get them muted/banned. This also includes fake mute messages and changing your username to a name that is very similar to a staff members, such as “SvperMonis” - this will result in a permanent ban.
Roleplays based on these topics are not allowed and are considered as inappropriate activity, examples of this are: Torture, Kidnapping, Strip Clubs, School Shooting and Sexual Behaviour.
This is considered as a form of advertising, please refrain from talking about other servers while you are on our server. Saying "anyone wanna play bedwars with me" for example is also not allowed.
Such as racial slurs, prejudice towards other races,discrimination/harassment of other players based on race.
References to inappropriate activity or behaviour is not allowed, examples of this would be using sexual terms such as the proper names and slang names for genitalia, offensive references to ****s or WWII, racist remarks etc. While the chat filter is able to block specific words there are some normal words that can be used to make offensive statements that are still not allowed. There may also be new inappropriate terms that have yet to be added to the chat filter that will still result in a mute for inappropriate speech.
Players may not share their phone numbers or addresses on the server or website. This is simply due to a concern for player safety. Sharing others' info (doxxing) is punished by a ban (see Permanent Ban Offences). Players pressuring others for this info may be muted as well.
There is no need to use this form of communication.
Any form of spam is not allowed and will be described into different categories below: Chat Spam, Group Spam, Letter Spam, Number Spam, Symbol Spam, Spacing Spam, Encouraging Spam and Encouraging Tag Spam. These rules are set in place to prevent obnoxious forms of messaging to be used in chat.
Excessively arguing with, disrespecting, or harassing staff. You will generally be verbally warned and then /warned for this, but can be muted if it is severe and/or warnings are ignored.
Such as saying you want to harm/kill another player, discussion of suicide or anything else with violent intent. Roleplays with violence are allowed in local chat.
Being rude to, and/or disrespecting other players is not tolerated. You will be warned, if you continue after the warn has expired you will be muted. Repeated offences will result in a mute. This also goes for offensive speech. If the sentence is brutal, you will not receive a warning but a straight mute depending on the severity.
Such as saying "f in chat for user" or "say 123 for roleplay". This does not apply to local chat, advertisement chat or /msg. The first offence will be a warning, with repeat offences being a mute.
If a player is causing trouble or arguing and a staff member has told them to stop in chat, they will receive a warn. Repeated offences will lead to a mute.
If a player is repeating the statement or word that got them muted, or that got another player muted, they will be warned.
Do not post messages using a large amount of capitals. Personal walls are excluded.
Includes acronyms and abbreviations such as omfg, ffs, and stfu, and intentionally altered spellings, this includes usernames.
Including but not limited to: advertising inappropriate clubs/builds, soliciting sexual roleplays, and using sexual terms such as the proper names and slang names for genitalia, this includes usernames.
Unless posted under "Report a User".
Example would be asking for drugs/alcohol, talking about drug/alcohol use, posting drug- or alcohol-related photos. Includes alcohol, cigarettes, and vaping, this includes usernames.
Such as racial slurs, prejudice towards other races, discrimination/harassment of other players based on race, or photos of racist activity/organisations, this includes usernames.
Intentional harassment/degradation of another player.
Such as saying you want to harm/kill another player, discussion of suicide, or anything else with violent intent. Includes gore/violent photos, except in "Report a User" forum.
Server or site ips/urls will result in a permanent ban. This includes signatures as well as personal walls as wall posts are now broadcasted.
Asking for ips/sites of other servers.
This is only allowed on walls.
Posting multiple times in a row on one thread.
Replying to a thread that has had no replies in a month or longer. This does not apply to Games and Suggestions.
Follows the above-listed rules, posts for the purpose of reporting others in the "Report a User" forum are permitted.
Sending links to and/or advertising discord servers, youtube videos and channels, twitch streams, etc. Not allowed due to complaints of players linking inappropriate communities. Youtube videos may be posted on profile walls and signatures.
Posting personal identifying information such as phone numbers, names, locations, emails, or account passwords without the owner's permission.
Such as negatively rating a post for self beneficial gains or for trolling.
You are not allowed to make alt accounts.
Formatted text is fine in moderation.
Don't swear or use inappropriate speech.
This includes repetitive sending of messages, emojis, images, or embeds.
You are not allowed to DM users with invite links to other discord servers or advertise other websites. Players can continue to distribute discord servers with permission from others. However, if the content inside is deemed harmful directed towards the server or staff members. They will be punished if reported.
Please remember to treat all members with respect and that intentional harassment/degradation of another player will not be tolerated.
Racial slurs, prejudice towards other races, discrimination/harassment of other players based on race, or photos of racist activity/organisations will result in punishment.
This includes asking for ips/sites of other servers.
This includes usernames, avatars, linked accounts and playing status.
This is pretty self-explanatory.
Screaming, playing music through a mic or making loud noises on purpose will result in a mute.
Spamming and Swearing for example is prohibited.
Players are responsible for their own account. Outside of legitimately stolen accounts, you will be held responsible if someone else uses your account to break server rules.
If rules are not followed, a punishment can/will be issued as enforced by CF Staff. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the rules we have set on the server, feel free to message a staff member and they'll be happy to answer your question.
Toxic behaviour or extensive disruptive behaviour not explicitly covered by the above listed rules may be punished by mute, tempban, or permanent ban, at the punishing staff member's discretion.
